POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe PRN On-Call Neurovascular Radiology Technologist in the Enhanced Staffing Solutions Local Flex Team is responsible for providing quality patient care in a manner that reflects a commitment to the core values of the Rochester Regional Health System. In any patient care setting, the NV Rad Tech preforms and assists radiologists in performing radiographic procedures, obtaining images of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures. By working on assignments and/or floating through Rochester Regional Health facilities, you provide care where it's needed most*. **In this role, your primary responsibility is to provide on call coverage outside of core hours (evenings/nights/weekends). If called, you will be asked to report to the facility within 30 minutes to support patients in our community. If you are called in there is a 4-hour minimum at Callback Pay.*On Call Rate: $5.00/hourCallback Pay: $65.00/hourRequired Credentials* NYS License in Radiologic Technology* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R)* BLS Certification - PreferredRequired Experience* Two years college certificate or equivalent* Two years as a Radiologic Technologist and Two years of Neurovascular ExperienceSkills & Abilities* Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas, including angiography, interventional, and digital subtraction angiography.* Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during supervised shifts.* Maintain accountability for patient throughout the angiographic area.* Provides on-call coverage for Interventional Section of Radiology.* Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and in patient charts as necessary.* Cleans, restocks, and prepares rooms daily.* Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-service training.* Provides excellent customer service.* Transport medications with patients to procedure and give medications to Physicians.* Performs other duties as assigned.Specialty: Neurovascular Radiology TechnologistLocation: Rochester, NYBenefits: NoneShift: Evening/NightHoliday & Weekend RequirementsEOE* #HWLHOSTJob Type: Part-timePay: $65.00 per hourBenefits:* Flexible scheduleSchedule:* 12 hour shift* Choose your own hours* Evening shift* Night shift* On call* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
