As a Line Cook, you will showcase your culinary skills by preparing exceptional dishes for our restaurant and banquet guests. Your dedication to the art of cooking will be evident as you work harmoniously with our kitchen team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficient food preparation.



Responsibilities:



--- Mastering Your Craft: Prepare top-quality dishes consistently for guest satisfaction
--- Fostering Teamwork: Ensure precise food preparation while promoting a collaborative environment
--- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep work areas organized and sanitized for a safe kitchen environment
--- Prioritizing Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address any issues promptly


Sign-on Bonus: A generous sign-on bonus is offered, with a portion included in your first paycheck and the remaining after successfully completing 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities:
--- Prepare and cook menu items following the standards set by Woodcliff Hotel & Spa.
--- Ensure that all food meets company guidelines in terms of quality and presentation.
--- Comply with food safety regulations and maintain a clean work area at all times.
--- Assist in managing inventory levels by participating in ordering and organizing supplies.
--- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to efficiently meet customer needs.

Qualifications:
--- Previous experience of at least 1 year in cooking within a hotel kitchen or similar setting, including banquet, fine dining, and line experience for specific positions.
--- Preferably have culinary training from a college.
--- Able to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
--- Capable of performing medium work, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly, and being able to move objects.
--- Must have the stamina to stand for extended periods without sitting or leaning.
--- Able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body and arms, work under varying temperatures and noise levels, and have near vision.
--- Should be quick and agile in responding to urgent situations, be willing to work long hours, and have the ability to multitask.
--- Strong communication skills in English, with the capacity to convey and understand information and ideas effectively.
--- Available for both AM and PM shifts.
