Job Description:

A company is looking for a Virtual Medical Scribe for a gap year opportunity starting in May/June 2024.

Key Responsibilities

Scribe in real-time while accompanying the physician virtually, documenting patient information into the EMR
Input orders as directed by the provider, including laboratory tests and medications
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information

Required Qualifications

Consistent availability for the role
Typing test score of 60+ WPM
Must reside in one of the specified states for eligibility
Interest in healthcare and medical documentation
Ability to work in a virtual environment
