Job Title: ICU Float Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU RN Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12.0, Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), Every Other Weekend, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Two (2) Years of ICU Acute Care Experience License: RN License (NY License ONLY) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: - Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills - Ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care Job Description: - Provide nursing care across a variety of ICU specialties, including Medical, Surgical, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care. - Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and deliver comprehensive care. - Exhibit effective communication and organizational skills within the intensive care setting. - Adjust to the unit with the greatest staffing need and provide appropriate care. - Stay informed and knowledgeable about the latest practices in critical care nursing.
