Job Description:
A company is looking for a Freelance Reporter in the tech and
politics section.
Key Responsibilities
Pitch and find a beat for the Debug section
Continually pitch new story ideas that align with the daily news
cycle
Produce original reporting and breaking news articles, publishing
two to three stories a day
Required Qualifications
Experience in online journalism is a plus, but not mandatory
A strong desire to report and explore topics in depth
Ability to work closely with an editor to produce engaging
stories
Interest in covering specific beats that stand out from general
news
Availability for morning or afternoon shifts on a Monday-Thursday
schedule
