Description: Job Title: Staff AccountantFLSA: Non-Exempt Hourly: Travel Requirements: Less than 10% Niagara Transformer Corporation is a leading U.S. supplier of custom medium voltage oil filled transformers and other power generation equipment, systems and services to utilities and industrial markets in the U.S. and overseas. We are actively seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team.Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship or relocation is offered for this position.Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Accounts Payable Invoice entry2. Accounts Payable Payment entry3. Assist / backup with payroll entry 4. Accounts Receivable Payment entry5. Assist with prepping month-end journal entries6. Assist with reporting to parent company7. Assist with fixed asset management8. Other duties as assignedRequirements: Requirements and Qualifications: Education -Bachelor in accountingExperience:-- Up to 2 years in similar position preferred, but not required-- Experience with a publicly traded company / SOX compliance a plus-- Proficient with Microsoft Excel-- Experience with Onestream, Oracle, JD Edwards software a plus-- Experience with Percentage-of-Completion accounting a plusSkill set: -- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and effectively interact with other accounting and non-accounting departments-- Strong analytical skills and attention to detailCompensation details: 55000-65000 Yearly SalaryPI30df8abf1343-25660-37247625
