Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Finance to drive
financial strategy and operations in a nonprofit environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead annual budget development and improve financial processes
across the organization
Ensure accuracy of accounting records and facilitate timely
month-end close and audit preparation
Manage grant budgeting and compliance, collaborating with the
Development team on grant applications
Required Qualifications
10+ years of finance experience in nonprofits with budgets over $3
million, or 5+ years with a relevant finance certification or
degree
5+ years of experience in grant-funded nonprofit organizations
Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(US GAAP)
Experience managing budgets at organizational, department, and
grant levels
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar financial management
software and Excel
